Creative Consulting
Do you want to create your own work and need guidance moving through the various stages of a design process? Are you working through resistance within the stages of your design process, and need support or collaboration to move the project forward? Laura is able to support you here.
Laura has moved countless projects from initial vision, to conceptual, to production, to final design, to revision, and project closeout. She guides others through the complexities of resistance to flow. Does this sound a little like a mindfulness practice? It’s because it is. In addition to being an artist and designer, Laura is also a certified mindfulness teacher, and supports clients moving through the design process by drawing from mindfulness practices.
Branding & Logo Design
We create custom branding and logo images for print and web guided through a transparent and simple design process from initial concepts to final images. The design process explores your company’s vision and future outlook, as well your industry and customer base, to create recognizable, unique and embodied images representing your company’s vibe and mission.
Presentation Graphics
For years, Laura worked in the corporate environment as a technologist and graphic designer. She specializes in visual representation of technical information for pitches, presentation, stakeholder & customer engagement. She distills and summarizes the necessary information and creates graphics and images that allow complex information to be easily understood.
Interiors
Looking for custom wallpaper, or textiles for your office or home? We create designs for wallpaper, textiles, wall murals and prints for interior spaces.
Digital Art & Design
Digital art and design is a broad topic! We create original digital art by combining photography, hand drawn images, typography, light and colour overlays, digital painting, and collage to create unique digital artworks. We work with other creators and collaborators, and offer commissions through this service.
Illustration & tattoo Design
We create custom hand drawn and digital illustrations for print, web, and the body. If you like our style of drawings, we can create you a commissioned artwork.
Book Cover Design & Layout
We create cover designs for both published and self-published books. The process for book cover design is intimate. We read and study the book transcript and work directly with the authors to create the artwork and title text layout. We also work directly with the author’s publisher to finalize the design and ensure a smooth transition to print.
Our design priority is to create unique covers that pop on the shelves, and create curiosity for the buyer.
